Jun 17, 2010 - Figure 8 Fury and Hornet Hustle Set to Make Fireworks on July 3rd

Kevin Montgomery Tucson, Arizona (June 16^th, 2010) – USA Raceway races into the summer with a full head of steam aiming for the American celebration slated for July 3^rd!  The anticipation builds for a conglomeration of special events all rolled into one event, leaving race fans with a firework spectacular.

 

The Figure 8 dare devils are preparing their cars for a 20-Lap, no holds barred, and $1000 to win Figure 8 Fury.  Rene Madrid smashed it out with Cousin Anthony and had fans on their feet as he captured the inaugural title and became the Figure 8 Fury Champion.  Rene and company will return to defend his title will several others looking to take him out.

 

The mighty Hornets will return to the Southwest Center of speed to test their skills on the 3/8 mile clay oval as they compete in two separate events for $500 to win each.  Duane Jones and Dusty Gauthier both conquered the “big track” and pocketed the money becoming “Hustle” champions.  Both drivers are expected to return as the stakes have been raised for the 2010 version.  The payout will still boast a $500 to win grand prize with prize money extending all the way through the field paying the top 20 competitors for the 2^nd edition.

A huge Fireworks display, SCRA Factory Stocks along with the Xtreme

Modifieds will cap off the special event and a super Independence Day celebration.  The Fireworks begin when general admission tickets go on sale at 4pm for only $12, racing will begin promptly at 6:45pm.  Suite Access Passes will allow race fans the opportunity to enjoy the races from USA Raceway’s VIP Suite.  Enjoy the races in luxury for only $25!
