Tucson, Az. (Aug. 12, 2011)- Just seven days following one of the biggest weekly events in USA Raceway history, comes a blockbuster follow-up with a little help from our friends over at the Total Seal Late Model Series Headquarters. This Saturday night marks their return to Tucson which was last witnessed by the packed house of a Father’s Day celebration that ended with 2010 series champion Ricky Thornton Jr. taking home the victory.

Former Manzanita Speedway Champion and current TSLMS point leader Anthony Madrid will make his way back to the 3/8th clay oval in hopes of bettering an impressive run in the USRA Modified division just last week. All-time series win leader (61) Lonnie Parker Jr. will also be on hand to do battle with some of the best in the Southwest that includes the historic team of Tucson’s very own Paul Banghart and Phoenix’s prize child Terry Belcher Jr.

Joining the action will be the stars of the Super Stock division which has been on fire as of late not only with the amount of cars but with a few tempers overflowing both on and off the track. The chase for the coveted USA Raceway Track Championship is now closer than ever before with a three way battle between the 17 car of newcomer Daniel Stricker, the 1 car of veteran Terry Hill, and the 4 car of former pavement pilot Brian Brown.

The Premier Stock Car Touring Series known as the Western States Stock Cars will join the fender full night of fun at USA along with the fastest growing division in Arizona, otherwise known as the USA X-Mods. Not to be left out of Saturdays festivities is the fan favorite Hornet class which shares the likes of many Tucson teenagers as well as many seasoned veterans.

Join us a little early for happy hour from 6pm to 7pm which includes a 2 for the price of 1 beer special and much more! All the action kicks off at 6:45pm this Saturday night at USA Raceway!

General admission tickets will go on sale at 4pm for only $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, Students and Military. Kids 11 & under are FREE! For an additional $5 you may upgrade your ticket to the great indoors and enjoy the races from USA Raceway’s VIP Lounge (first come, first serve basis).
