Double Down This Saturday at USA Raceway!
Tucson, Az. (Aug. 5, 2011)- After 2 weeks of good old fashion butt whoopin’s courtesy of Mother Nature, comes this Saturday night at USA Raceway! This one is far from another make-up date, as we’ll feature Double Main Events for the stars of the USRA Modified Series as well as the door banging Hornets. The Arizona Super Stock Touring Series will join the jam packed night along with the USA Factory Stocks and the Desert Dwarf Car Club.
With the best modified racers around all set for a showdown at Arizona’s premier dirt track, the fans will have the chance to see twice the action as competitors from all over Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas go toe to toe for two big paydays worth a $1,000 to the winner of each race.
Two of Phoenix’s finest are committed to Saturday’s action at USA as former Manzanita Speedway Modified Champions Ricky Thornton Jr. and Anthony Madrid join forces with Team Tucson’s top Modified pilots that include former Central Arizona Champ Robert Adams, current USRA point leader Chad Ayers, and Arizona Auto Racing Icon Carl Trimmer. The New Mexico Nightmare Stormy Scott will join the Las Cruces based father and son team of Fito and Jacob Gallardo, and Southern New Mexico Speedway Co-Owner and Modified Specialist Jimmy Ray.
Drivers of the Super Stock and Hornet division that were in attendance the night of July 23rd’s rain shortened event will have a complimentary pit pass located at the pit entrance.
All the action kicks off at 6:45pm this Saturday night at USA Raceway!
General admission tickets will go on sale at 4pm for only $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, Students and Military. Kids 11 & under are FREE! For an additional $5 you my upgrade your ticket to the great indoors and enjoy the races from USA Raceway’s VIP Suite (first come, first serve basis).
