Kevin Montgomery TUCSON, Ariz. (February 2nd, 2010) – In an on going effort to bring race fans of Arizona the best in racing action, competitors at USA Raceway will adding a new tool to their tool belt know as the Raceceiver radio.  Raceceiver’s are a compact one way radio that allows the competitor to receive directives from the race director in order to speed up line up procedures and most importantly enhance safety on the race track.

“Our goal is to speed up our shows for the fans as well as keep our drivers and track officials more safe” commented Benji Lyons of USA Raceway.  “Most major injuries and major car damage seem to occur after the 1st wreck by a car that had no clue what he was headed for. This eliminates all of that.”

Raceceiver Radios will be required for all divisions starting at the 5th Annual Copper on Dirt.  Radios will be on hand for drivers to purchase or rent for the event and further there will be a rent to own program for competitors that may be on a limited budget.

“We have a program in place so that the racers will not have to spend a bunch of extra money in order to race and we can still accomplish our goal of bringing safe and exciting racing to the race fans” added Lyons.

Raceceiver Radios can be pre-purchased by contacting the track at 520-574-8515.  It is recommended for all competitors that will be purchasing radios to call in advance.

The 5th Annual “Copper on Dirt” will feature ASCS National Wing Sprint Cars, Midgets, The West Coast Late Model Shootout vs. Total Seal Late Model Dirt Racing Series and USRA Western Modifieds all taking part in a sensational racing spectacle at Tucson’s USA Raceway’s for two nights on February 18th and 19th marking USA Raceway as the only dirt track venue in the country to host all four premier divisions in one event.
